Obituary & Life History

The Villages Club from FL - Helen L. Kaleta, 65, died Wednesday, January 21, 2009.

Mrs. Kaleta was born in Kimball, Neb., and moved to the Village from Manitowish Waters, Wis., in 2007. She was a teacher/librarian and member of St. Timothy Catholic Church, Lady Lake, Fl. She went to Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind in Colorado Springs, from 1958 to 1964 which she was graduated and went to Gallaudet University and graduated there.

She died from massive heart attack and also had muscular dystrophy (MD) and pacemaker for heart for a long time.

Survivors include her husband, John J., daughters Carol Kateta and Rosie Kaleta, both of Wisconsin; sister, Connie Muniz, Colorado and brother, Walter Ruff Jr., Colorado.
