Obituary & Life History James A. Melby died at his home on March 21. He had worked at THE Washington Post for a number of years before moving to South Carolina to work at the South Carolina School for the Deaf as a printing instructor. He is survived by his mother, daughter, Rewa Melby, and son Shane.
